Omar Rivera

Business Development Manager

Omar started working at EcoTech Services in 2019 and quickly acclimated to the industry. He shadowed irrigation field technicians, becoming knowledgeable in residential and commercial irrigation retrofits. He also has first-hand experience in designing and building irrigation systems, advanced programming knowledge of residential controllers, and is able to perform irrigation distribution uniformity tests.

Over the years, Omar has given water use efficiency presentations at the AWWA Spring Conference 2022 and WaterSmart 2022, with more presentations on the way. In 2024, he transitioned to Business Development Manager, utilizing his marketing skills to reach out to water agencies and private sector clients, promoting EcoTech's various programs and services geared towards water conservation. With his outgoing personality, he is a delight to work with new and existing clients alike. 

In his spare time, Omar plays golf with his wife and tries out new and exciting restaurants, which led him to become the office's official Foodie.
