+ What is Kurapia? What are some of the basic benefits of Kurapia?
Kurapia is a planted groundcover with UNIQUE features such as extreme drought tolerance, very low maintenance and a rapid establishment. The thick rooting clusters of the Kurapia Plant make it an excellent erosion control measure as well.Another benefit is that Kurapia tolerates high levels of salinity for those that use reclaimed water.
+ Does Kurapia qualify for turf removal rebates?
Kurapia may qualify for rebate programs because it is not a turf grass and it uses very little water. However, we recommend to check with the rebate program to confirm.

+ Is it safe for pets?
Although Kurapia performs as an ideal groundcover it is completely natural so it does not pose any threat to pets. It is very pet friendly and even edible although we are told that snails do not like its taste. That’s a GOOD thing.
