MARCOS QUEZADA

President of EcoTech Services

Marcos is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Irrigation Science and a Minor in Horticulture. Marcos started his career in water conservation in 1997 (while still in college) working as an instructor and technical advisor for Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. In 2001, he co-founded WaterWise Consulting, Inc., a water conservation firm specializing in water audits, rebates, and other related services. And, in 2012, Marcos co-founded EcoTech Services, Inc. (EcoTech) to focus on implementing direct-installation services, including landscape construction and plumbing retrofits. He holds a California Contractor’s License in Landscaping (C-27) and Plumbing (C-36) on behalf of EcoTech, for which he also serves as President.

Marcos also served as an instructor for the Irrigation Association (IA) from 1999 until 2010, teaching various IA classes throughout the country including Puerto Rico. He has held the IA Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) certification for many years and has been active in the landscape and irrigation industries. Marcos is also an alumni and ambassador of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, which is a national program focused on business development and entrepreneurship.
